Peter had no idea how long he’d been out for. Could have been hours, days, months even. He checked his coms again, still no signal. He looked around for footprints, anything that could tell him where the rest of the team went, nothing.

Champ loved the days Edward came out to visit him. Once in awhile he’d go down and get the fish for him but most days he’d wait patiently while Edward cast a line in the water.
